The following is a series of guidance documents prepared for the Alberta Offset System. It is highly recommended that these documents be reviewed to ensure main criteria of the system are met:
The following Alberta Offset System Quantification Protocols have all completed three rounds of Technical and Stakeholder Review with no sustained objection and have been officially approved by Alberta Environment for use as eligible project types in the Alberta Offset System. **1 Protcol under review. Persons wishing to bring forward projects under this protocol must consult with Alberta Environment prior to submitting the project to the Alberta Emissions Offset Registry.
**2 Protcol under review to assess impacts of the draft Renewable Fuel Standard. Persons wishing to bring forward projects under this protocol must consult with Alberta Environment prior to submitting the project to the Alberta Emissions Offset Registry.
